About Alma Domus
Beginning in the 15th century, the house has been gradually modified, in successive epochs.
It has become a charming and austere
"monument of stone".
Since 1800 it had not undergone any substantial alteration. Then a vision and a leap of faith set into motion a destination. That brings us to today.
As a result of the Porpora family’s foresight and the conservative restoration
under the artistic direction of architect Laura Einaudi, Alma Domus has become a receptive structure in which past and present dialogue,
ancient and contemporary meet.
